Formerly named Cronica Esporadica, The Eyes of Desolation was born back in 2005 from an idea by Charlie Varela (Vocals) and Jesus Mora (Guitars. Then Javier Murillo (bass) joined the band and finally Kevin Murillo (drums) , keeping the same line-up since middle 2006.
Our band has been in fact defined and influenced by some different musical styles. In 2008 due to personal needs to find a name that describes better our music, The Eyes of Desolation came up, with a musical renovation as well as our name, and hopefully with our record in the market within the first quarter of 2009.
We can resume our sound into an European sound, influenced mostly by north-European metal bands like Tiamat / Dark Tranquillity / HIM
